Hi,

I've inherited a server running a highly customized version of Pandora 1.3, however I've read that only the 3.1 agent supports monitoring Windows 2008 64-bit servers.

Can the 3.1 agent work with an older server version? So far I've been able to get my test machine to send it's XML file to the Pandora server, but Pandora didn't process it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, only 3.1 agents works fine with 2008/64 bit, but you can always use the 3.1 agent with 1.3 server. Note that in next version (3.2) ssh support will be removed, but you can use tentacle server/tentacle client in a 1.3 server, just setting up (not very difficult), indeed you can have mixed setup with ssh and tentacle, even FTP. If doesnt work, check all server logs (set verbosity to maximum).

Anyway, 1.3 is a VERY VERY OLD setup, I recommend to setup a new version (forget to upgrade, thats too many versions in the middle until reach 3.1).
