First of all, maybe english is the "official" language in that forum. So I'll post on this language

We (developers of pandora) speak spanish as our first language. Sometimes we have found reviewing the translation file for Pandora that we must learn again english. So, do you have found some expression in the web at sourceforge, in Pandora Console or in the messages given by Pandora Server or agents that could be reviewed?

At the moment only english documentation is published (for Pandora 1.1). We hope this could be improved.

Thanks

Raul

I have always wanted to learn spanish, I heard its the best language to impress girls ;-) .  I have found the same language problem while trying to customise or read the pandora code, the variable naming and programming conventions isnt english. This is not the only place I found this language challange, but with a lot of other projects. I have a solution to this problem that I mostly use in such cases, I use google language translation service. The only draw back to this approach is, one has to know the source and destination language, and the translated text isnt always grammatically 100 % correct. But it still helps me a lot in overcomming the language problem at critical times.

Hope this helps. Also probably the same language translation services could be used to create more translation files and documentation in other languages.

Yep, new version has more english-commented code than spanish, but there are many lines in spanish at the moment. For the future, all documentation and code will be written in english, or something very similar because our english sometimes is more similar to klingon :-)))

If you swap over some time to me, I will review everything and make the needed translations. :-)
But time-swapping was not invented until now. :-(

Beside all jokes: Currently I am working on the German translation. Due to our whole migration (Sancho knows a little bit about it), I have got very little time.
If this is finished, I will review the code and translate the rest if this hasn't been done by somebody else until then. Maybe this will not flow into 1.2 but for 1.3 it should be ok.

Cheers

PS: Sancho, remind my offer for the RS/6000. Tell me as early as you can, if you need it. This machine needs to be configured and shipped before you can use it.

If it is re-installed and shipped to our datacenter - yes.
How fast or until which date do you want to have it?
