Howdy fellas!

My name is Hernandez, I'm new to PandoraFMS and to the forums in general.

I'm setting up Pandora do monitor my company's network and to remotely monitor computers and servers OUTSIDE the local network.

What I need to know is, what ports do I need to open in our Firewall to allow incoming/outgoing connections?

Thanks in advance,
Hernandez

Greetings.

If you are going to use remote agents to monitor these machines, generally, you don't need to open any port for incoming connections, since the Pandora Console machine is the one that makes calls outside to monitor the external ones.

If you actually need external machines to access your Pandora web interface, you'd simply need to open HTTP port (80).

However, if any of these external machines have got a Pandora Agent installed (Agent Software) and you want it to report to the Pandora Server, you should open port 41121 TCP (in case the transmission method is Tentacle) or 22 TCP (if you are using ssh to establish contact between Agent and Server)

And if you have a question regarding a specific situation, just shoot. ;)
