configure agent to send xml-modules over proxy or https

Is it possible to change the configuration, that the remote monitoring server will receive the packeges from agents, over special proxy ports?

Want the agents themselves to send the collected data and send the info over https, or a proxy to the monitoring server.

I guess i cant just change the port of tentacle to the one i want him to use.

Currently this is not possible.

However, in the upcoming 4.0 version, you will be able, since the new agents have a "proxy mode" which allows them to send the xml data to another agent, which would automatically send it to the server or to another proxy agent.

This means that, if you install a Pandora Agent with the Proxy mode enabled in the proxy server, aiming to the Pandora Server, and get the rest of the agents to aim to the Pandora Proxy Agent, you will create a bridge that will allow you to send the xml data throughout the proxy to the Pandora Server.

You won't have to wait too much for the new version... we're already in the testing phase. ;)
