This is simple enough to do;
Install vmware and create a blank linux server with 1 cpu
install your favorite linux onto the virtual machine including whatever support apps pandora needs (MySql?)
install pandora on top
once it is running smoothly, shut down the virutal machine, compact the hard drive image
publish it on the vmware site.

now anyone can download the appliance, and have pandora up and running with a minimum of effort and time.

Thanks for the idea. For the official release of Pandora 1.2 we will upload to vmware, in the next two weeks.

Our friend dervitx has published a VMware image with Debian and Pandora 1.2 installed on it!!
