Hi,
i'm new to pandora fms. The functions that i've tested since today are very good. The only thing that i can't found is the following:
I add my network switch as an agent. SNMP discovery etc works fine. Then i activate sending snmp trap on the switch. The snmp traps appear under snmp console in the main menu but the traps were not assined to an agent. Events, monitor checks, everything is green. I only can find the trap unter snmp console. How can i change this? May it be that i missconfigured the system?

Hi,

The snmp console is independent of the agents as workaround you can do the following:

1) to configure an alert associated to SNMP trap, this alert writes anything in a file, for example file1.
2) add an agent in Pandora server, with the name of your switch, this agent will read the file1. In this agent you can add the network modules with the others checks for your switch.

Kind Regards.

Hi Koko19,

The feature you're asking for: "assigning a trap to an agent" is only Enterprise.
If you want more information about the Enterprise version please contact my privately.
