Hi.

I'm checking all my devices with host alive every 2min .

Some remote sites have higher latency and some packets lost.

Is it possible to modify the ping module to increase the response time and doing a 2nd retry before it fails?

The host alive is also the module that fails the most, the rest of the modules are not that sensitive.

I'm very happy to answer questions so easy ! :-))

Just edit /etc/pandora/pandora_server.conf and look for tokens called:

icmp_checks
network_timeout

First one defines how many "pings" does the network server before give up, just increase to 2 or 3 (only 1 by default).

Second one defines the timeout for ICMP tests, just increase ammount you need (are in seconds)
